Summer is nearly here! As we enter into this season of comings and goings, we want to continue to offer opportunties for those who call Christ Central their church home, or are checking us out for the first time, to connect!

Summer Clubs are relaxed gatherings built around shared activities—an easy way to spend time together and deepen relationships within our church. Some of last year’s favorites included Rock Climbing, Mahjong, Bible & Bourbon, Book Club, and Dinners for Six. We’re bringing many of those back this year, along with a few new options. Summer Clubs will begin the week of June 1st.
City Fellowship: Come Together is a church-wide gathering designed to cultivate connection, encouragement, and formation. Over a shared meal, we will create space to slow down, be present with one another, and experience the beauty of community in Christ.
Each fellowship will feature a testimony from someone in our church family about how they have encountered the grace, faithfulness, and transforming power of life in Christ. These stories remind us that God is actively at work among us, shaping our lives in both ordinary and extraordinary ways.
Whether you are new to the church or have been part of the community for years, Come Together is an opportunity to be known, to listen, and to be encouraged in your own walk with Jesus. Around the table, we remember that we are not alone, we are a people called to rest in Christ and to live for His renewal in our lives and in our city.We hope you’ll join us for our June City Fellowship on June 17th at 5:30 pm at 1004 N. Join us for Spiritual Practice Nights on June 17th and July 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm!
What are Spiritual Practice Nights? They're two separate nights full of fun games, crafts, Bible stories, catechesis, and Scripture memory around specific spiritual practices for kids. These are strategically placed on City Fellowship Nights so as not to add more to your schedule.
Spiritual Practice Nights are for kids 4 years old through 3rd grade. We need volunteers to make these nights happen! Volunteers need to be 13 years old or older.

Join us for a fun Night Out at a Durham Bulls game! Our Women's Durham Bulls Game will be on June 7th at 5:00 pm. Our Men's Durham Bulls Game will be on June 19th at 6:30 pm.
We’ll gather in the stadium at Kia Corner to enjoy an evening of baseball and connection downtown. Dinner is included, and you’re encouraged to invite friends and neighbors!

We are not having our regular VBS this summer, but we are inviting families to join us to invest in the good of the city for the world.
We are inviting families to host small VBS camps of 10-15 kids in their neighborhoods to create gospel relationships with children and families who are unchurched. If you're interested, check out more here!
Welcome to 4th & 5th Grade Central Youth!
On certain summer Sundays from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm, Central Youth welcomes their 4th & 5th grade friends into an evening of fellowship, friendship, and fun! Our hopes for Sundays include: providing the youth a space to be embraced into community, hear grace-driven truth, offer a safe place to ask questions, and ultimately leave feeling loved. We will provide dinner each week, along with fun games, worship, diving into God’s word, and the opportunity to discuss in small groups. We can’t wait to see you all there!
For our summer gatherings, 4th & 5th Grade will meet on 6/14, 6/28, 7/12, and 7/26!
This Summer we are excited to continue our Central Youth Bible Studies.
These have been such a win over the past two years as they both fulfill the desire for fellowship with their peers AND provide an opportunity to dive deep into the Word of God. The Bible studies will meet at your homes. We ask that you will prayerfully consider hosting a bible study. This includes opening up your home to amazing kids and providing dinner for them.

In the City is an opportunity for Central Youth students and their families to serve the city we call home. We will meet at 9:00 am on June 20th at DNS for prayer and prep and will then send people out in vehicles to various serving spots.
Instead of having a one week event we are going to have four Saturdays throughout the year that we will serve, "In the City." You can register yourself and your student above! Students are welcome to attend alone but we encourage this to be a family affair!
