Member Care

Creating intentional space to pause, check in, and experience genuine care

So much of church life comes with built‑in expectations: we expect to gather on Sundays, we expect to serve, we expect to give. These are all beautiful rhythms of discipleship. But we want to gently introduce one more expectation—the expectation of being known. The expectation that at least one person in this community knows what’s going on in your life, your heart, your walk with God, and even your struggles.

Member Care

Our hope is that these conversations help answer two important questions we don’t often say out loud:

“Who really knows me?”
“And am I known right now?”

We are a busy community filled with people who genuinely care. Membership Care simply helps members of Christ Central pause long enough to live that out.

How it Works

  • You choose your meeting partner—someone you already know and do life or ministry with. If no one comes to mind, we’d love for you to meet with Charlie Densmore, our Connections and Congregational Care Director.
  • You choose a time and location that works for both of you.
  • You use the conversation guide below to help you share openly, listen deeply, and pray together.
  • There is no strict deadline for these meetings, but we would like everyone who is a member of our church to complete a meeting by June.

Conversation Guide

Use these questions as a framework for your time together:

  • How are you really doing?
  • Where do you sense God growing or leading you?
  • Struggle is inevitable—where are you experiencing it this season?
  • Our hope is that every member lives on mission. What does that look like for you now or down the road?
  • Would it be helpful to continue this conversation with a staff member, pastor, elder, or WLC? If yes, who might that be?

There’s no pressure to cover every question, and no expectation that the conversation looks the same for everyone. The goal is simply connection—trust, vulnerability, honest questions, and spiritual encouragement.

After you meet

We'd love to know that your conversation happened. It's a simple way for us–as pastors, elders, and leaders–to celebrate the life of our church and make sure members who need follow-up care recieve it.

Please take one minute to fill out the very short form below. It doesn't ask for personal details, just a quick reflection on how the time went and whether any support or follow-up might be helpful.
