“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28–30
Each Fall, we set aside time to step away from the noise of daily life and draw near to God and one another. This year’s retreat is centered on Sabbath rest—learning what it means to not only pause from our work, but to delight in God’s presence, embrace His gift of rest, and practice rhythms that restore our souls. Together, we will explore how Sabbath can become a life-giving practice woven into our ordinary days.
This retreat offers space to be both alone with God and together in community. Through prayer, reflection, conversation, and rest, we’ll seek renewal and deepen our connection to the Lord and each other. All women 18 and older are invited. Any questions? Email Christie@christcentraldurham.com
