What is Educational Partnership?

Educational Partnership comes alongside the students, families, and staff of two partner schools, Durham Nativity School and CC Spaulding Elementary, in a variety of ways– by serving as volunteers for special events, collecting supplies to address specific needs, and providing encouragement to teachers and staff.

Ongoing and Upcoming Opportunities

Thanksgiving Meal Drive

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we hope you'll join us in spreading the warmth of the holiday season as we extend a helping hand to families in need. Our Thanksgiving Meal Drive is now live! We hope to provide meal kits to 25 families at C.C. Spaulding Elementary.

Your contributions can be meal kit supplies, grocery store gift cards, or your valuable time as a volunteer to assist with distributing these meal kits on November 17th. Please make your donations by November 17th. Sign up below!

Our Partner Schools

Durham Nativity School

We have the privilege of housing our Sunday morning worship services and offices at Durham Nativity School. Durham Nativity School serves middle school boys who come from financially-challenged backgrounds. They seek to provide a nurturing but highly structured and academically challenging environment where students thrive. We seek to be good neighbors, supporting the school in any way we can throughout the year, especially with a school-supply drive, a Christmas meal drive, and teacher encouragement.

C.C. Spaulding
C.C. Spaulding Elementary School is a part of Durham Public Schools and serves students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, located in the Hayti neighborhood. CCS has about 400 students and 70 staff/teachers. CCS also qualifies for Title 1 Funding. We have partnered with CCS for several years through school supply and holiday meal drives, beautification efforts, volunteering, and teacher encouragement.
