What is Mission Chattanooga?
Central Youth are invited to join us as we head to Chattanooga, Tennesse, for the second year in a row! From June 25-July 2 we will be in Chattanooga, where we will partner with Hope for the Inner City to love, serve, and bless the inner city of Chattanooga. The goal of this event is education, service, and community building. Hope for the Inner City specializes in educating youth about the history of racial injustice in our country to bring about an awareness that equips youth to better engage with their own city. One of Christ Central's core values is "serve the city," and we believe that by engaging with an organization that is currently serving their city well, our youth will be emboldened to serve Durham. Mission trips are also an incredible way for youth of all different backgrounds, upbringings, and cultures to create fun, Gospel-centered memories as they learn to embrace one another. All of those things cultivate a culture of youth that is encouraged, challenged, and equipped to bring about renewal within our city. Registration for Mission Chattanooga closes on April 22nd!
