ABOUT CENTRAL YOUTH
Central Youth seeks spiritual, social, and cultural renewal in the context of Durham’s students. Our chief goal is to come alongside parents as we seek to love, lead, and disciple students in grades 4-12.
CENTRAL YOUTH GATHERINGS
Central Youth is a place for students in 4th-12th grades to be welcomed into authentic community, hear grace-driven truth, feel safe to question, invite friends, and leave feeling loved. We play games, eat good food, hear God’s Word, and do life together. It's our weekly youth group. Central Youth meets on Sunday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Christ Central.
Central Youth also hosts outreach events, and we participate in community service projects.

HIGH SCHOOL GATHERINGS
On Sundays from 6:00-8:00 pm, the high schoolers gather for a night of fellowship, worship, and time in the Word! We are excited to start this for our high schoolers and can't wait to see what God does. Currently, we are combining our High School gatherings with our Central Youth gatherings, as we are meeting on Sunday evenings.
The Youth Ministry Internship is all about discipleship, leadership, and growth. This position involves discipling youth, assisting in the coordination of Central Youths’ events/trips, and seeking to grow in one’s faith, ministry, leadership, and occupational goals.
